We are happy to announce that we released version 3.3.0 of the Kurviger App for BETA users.
Please find a note on the Beta Program here.

For the season start we prepared a huge update with a lot of changes and improvements. We will focus on the main changes here:

  • Ride tracking: Record your rides to the Kurviger Cloud. When pausing the navigation you can see your ride in the planning view. You can save your recording when you finish your ride. You can see more details about your ride and export it to GPX in the Kurviger Cloud.
  • Planning+Cloud: Major redesign to improve your route planning and cloud experience on mobile devices. We have completely overhauled and modernised the views.
  • Planning: You can now include POIs and favorites in your routes.
  • Navigation: Introduce the concept of navigation pause, this allows you to pause the navigation during stops or when you need to change your route on the go and the option to finish your ride when you have reached your destination.
  • Navigation: Shaping Points are ignored for zooming as well as in the navigation instructions.
  • General: Sign in with Apple

In order to keep this thread clean, I would like to ask you to provide feedback in the discussion thread for the release . For specific issues or feature requests, I would like to ask you to create a separate thread. It may take a few hours for the update to show up in Google Play. Please note, the update will be distributed to you first if you have joined the BETA program in Google Play. The normal update will not be released for a few days.

Wir freuen uns, euch mitteilen zu können, dass wir Version 3.3.0 der Kurviger App für BETA Nutzer veröffentlicht haben. Eine kleine Erklärung zur Nutzung des Beta Programms findet ihr hier.

Für den Saisonstart haben wir ein großes Update für euch. Wir konzentrieren uns hier jetzt nur auf die wichtigsten Änderungen:

  • Touraufzeichnung: Zeichne deine Fahrten in der Kurviger Cloud auf. Wenn du die Navigation pausierst, kannst du deine Fahrt in der Planungsansicht sehen. Du kannst deine Aufzeichnung speichern, wenn du deine Fahrt beendet hast. In der Kurviger Cloud kannst du mehr Details zu deiner Fahrt sehen und sie als GPX exportieren.
  • Planung+Cloud: Umfangreiche Redesign, um deine Routenplanung und Cloud-Nutzung auf mobilen Geräten zu verbessern. Wir haben die Ansichten komplett überarbeitet und modernisiert.
  • Planung: Du kannst jetzt POIs und Favoriten in deine Routen integrieren.
  • Navigation: Einführung des Konzepts der Navigationspause, das es dir ermöglicht, die Navigation die Navigation unterwegs zu unterbrechen, sei es für einen Stopp oder weil du deine Route unterwegs ändern willst. Wenn du an deinem Ziel angekommen bist kannst du die Fahrt beenden.
  • Navigation: Shaping Points werden sowohl beim Zoomen als auch in den Navigationsanweisungen ignoriert.
  • Allgemein: Anmeldung mit Apple-ID wird unterstützt.

Um diesen Thread aufgeräumt zu halten, würden wir euch bitten,Feedback im Diskussions-Thread für diese Version zu geben. Bei Anfragen oder Problemen zu einem speziellen Feature würde ich euch bitten einen extra Beitrag anzulegen. Es kann ein paar Stunden dauern bis das Update in Google Play angezeigt wird. Bitte beachtet, das Update wird zuerst an euch verteilt, wenn ihr in Google Play dem BETA Programm beigetreten seid. Das normale Update wird erst in einigen Tagen veröffentlicht.

We are happy to announce that we released version 3.3.1 of the Kurviger App. The version is available now as BETA for Android and iOS. The Android production version will be released after a few days if there aren’t any issues with the BETA.

This update focuses mostly on bug fixes that were introduce due to the big changes in the last update:

  • [Android] Navigation: Waypoint Number is shown in the top-left if the upcoming turn instruction shows the arrival at a via point.
  • [Android]: Fix app compatibility issues with old Android versions older than Android 7.
  • [Android] Navigation: Fix special case where multiple voice instructions could be spoken.
  • [iOS]: Fix different app crashes that were reported by users.
  • [iOS] Navigation: Fix alignment issues with the navigation arrow.
  • [iOS] Navigation: Improve rerouting, and don’t allow rerouting when follow mode is active.
  • [iOS] Navigation: Fix recenter button alignment in landscape.
  • [iOS]: Fix going back to the route planning view after landscape navigation.

Wir freuen uns, euch mitteilen zu können, dass wir Version 3.3.1 der Kurviger App veröffentlicht haben. Die Version ist jetzt als BETA für [Android] (Kurviger App - Google Play Beta) und [iOS] (Kurviger iOS BETA + Roadmap) verfügbar. Die Android-Produktionsversion wird nach ein paar Tagen veröffentlicht, wenn es keine Probleme mit der BETA gibt.

Dieses Update konzentriert sich hauptsächlich auf Fehlerbehebungen, die aufgrund der großen Änderungen im letzten Update eingeführt wurden:

  • [Android] Navigation: Behebt einen Sonderfall, bei dem mehrere Sprachanweisungen gesprochen werden konnten.
  • [iOS]: Behebt verschiedene App-Abstürze, die von Nutzern gemeldet wurden.
  • [iOS] Navigation: Behebt Ausrichtungsprobleme mit dem Navigationspfeil.
  • [iOS] Navigation: Verbessere die Neuberechnung und deaktiviere die Neuberechnung, wenn der Folgemodus aktiv ist.
  • [iOS] Navigation: Behebt die Ausrichtung des Recenter-Buttons im Querformat.
  • [iOS]: Öffnen der Routenplanungsansicht nach der Navigation im Querformat wurde verbessert.
