When releasing a new version of the Kurviger app, we are doing the release in two phases.
First we release the new version through the Google Play Beta channel. After some time, typically about a week if we don’t see any error, we will release the app on the public channel, where everyone can access the new version.
Most of you who installed the app before September have installed the app through the Google Play Beta channel, as we released the app as BETA first. You can enter or leave the Beta program, depending on your preference. You can find a tutorial here.
The benefit of the Google Play Beta channel is that you will get new features faster. The downside is, that it is possible that there might be a bug or something that does not work 100%. The production channel should receive less updates but the app should be already better tested. The choice is yours

Wenn wir eine neue Version der Kurviger App veröffentlichen, machen wir das in zwei Phasen.
Zuerst veröffentlichen wir die neue Version über den Google Play Beta-Kanal. Nach einiger Zeit, in der Regel etwa eine Woche, wenn wir keine Fehler feststellen, veröffentlichen wir die App im öffentlichen Kanal, wo jeder auf die neue Version zugreifen kann.
Die meisten von euch, die die App vor September installiert haben, haben die App über den Google Play Beta-Kanal installiert, da wir die App zuerst als BETA veröffentlicht haben. Du kannst dem Beta-Programm beitreten oder es verlassen, je nachdem, was dir lieber ist. Eine Anleitung findest du hier.
Der Vorteil des Google Play Beta-Kanals ist, dass du neue Funktionen schneller erhältst. Der Nachteil ist, dass es möglich ist, dass es einen Fehler gibt oder etwas nicht 100%ig funktioniert. Der Produktionskanal sollte weniger Updates erhalten, aber die App sollte bereits besser getestet sein. Die Entscheidung liegt bei dir .
