Using waypoints but not showing them on route?

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to use waypoint for making a route, but without showing them on the map/route.

I made a route through South America using a lot of waypoints. Now I want to see my complete route but I see so many circles with numbers which are the waypoints. Can I hide these so I see my route without all the circles?

Guess you refer to the website - then just press “W” and all waypoints will be suppressed.

Yes, I made the route in the website and imported it in the app. In the app the waypoints are visible and also at the website.

When I press the ‘W’ the waypoints are only suppressed as long as I keep pressing the ‘W’. Is there a possibility that I don’t have to keep pressing the ‘W’?

The “W”-Feature in the website is just for an overview and for screenshots - there is no possibility to hide the waypoints permanently.
In the app you may suppress waypoints by specifying an absurd small zoom level for them:
