Depending on file format (kurviger or gpx), a different import dialog box is shown. My suggestion would be to use the gpx dialog as standard and hide the unused items for kurviger files.
BTW: I’m very satisfied with Kurviger and I see only small things to improve

Each format has different import options and those of each format are displayed.
when we talk about functions, I’m fully with you.
But UI is different…gpx import: overlay and route calculation with separate dropdown list, kurviger combined (which hides a bit this excellent Overlay and calculated route option)
