I wanted to plan a tour via Finnland and Russia. The tool gives me a error message for two different continents. Will there be a bug fix, since Leningrad (St. Petersburg) and Luga are still on the european continent? I read some other posts with similar errors while planing a tour.

Bei Ländern, die auf zwei Kontinenten liegen (z. B. Türkei, oder wie hier Russland) ist die Landesgrenze gleichzeitig die Kontinentgrenze.
Wie in der Fehlermeldung erwähnt, kann man durch die direkte Verbindungslinie Kontinentgrenzen überspringen. Kurz vor der Grenze das Ziel definieren, dann kurz nach der Grenze einen Wegpunkt mit “Erweitere Route nach” setzen und (wenn überhaupt erforderlich) diese beiden Wegpunkte mit “beeline” verbinden.

For countries that are located on two continents (e.g. Turkey, or as here Russia) the country border is also the continent border.
As mentioned in the error message, you can skip continental borders by using the direct connection line. Define the destination shortly before the border, then set a waypoint with “Extend route to” shortly after the border and (if at all necessary) connect these two waypoints with “beeline”.

Danke, dass werde ich mal noch probieren. Ich fänd eine direkte Planung etwas charmanter. Das geht bei TomTom GoRide, Calimoto und MyMaps auch schon immer. Deshalb konnte ich mir die Kurviger-Fehlermeldung irgendwie nicht so ganz erklären. Aber es wird sich schon eine Lösung finden

Thank you for your respond. I understand the concern behind a unlimited tour planing between “different continents”. A option to activate the route planing Asia and Europe would still be charming, since it’s also possible in other tools like myMaps for many years. Border crossing is always not easy, but I can remember unpredictable wait times at intra-european border crossings as well
Maybe there will be a option at some point.
Ich habe mittlerweile deine Idee ausprobiert. Leider scheint die Luftlinie kostenpflichtig zu sein. Kannst du mir eventuell sagen, ob die Luftlinie bereits im Tourerabo enthalten ist oder ob das dann ein Tourer±Feature ist? 15€ kann ich im Jahr durchaus verschmerzen. Das Tourenplanen mit Kurviger macht nicht gerade wenig Spaß

I have since tried your idea. Unfortunately, the airline seems to be chargeable. Can you possibly tell me if the aerial line is already included in the Tourer subscription or if this is then a Tourer+ feature? I can definitely get over 15€ per year. Tour planning with Kurviger is pretty much fun
