Android apps are separate / independent.
This is not possible.
Navigation does not require internet.
Navigation only needs a route and GPS.
Internet is required to calculate routes, if you are not using offline routing:

Thousands of users continue to use Kurviger 1 app without problems in routing and navigation.
If a user has problems on their device, it is usually something in the device / settings / network.

Because there is no way the navigation can show an internet message,
unless a rerouting (at start or later) is needed and there is no internet.
Also ich habe ein Samsung Galaxy S7 mit Android 8.0.0. - also Deinem sehr ähnlich.
Bei mir läuft Kurviger Pro 1.14.21 nach wie vor.
Die Suchfunktion nach “Kurviger 1” fördert weitere Treffer von Leuten die noch Kurviger 1 nutzen.

When users first leave a bad rating and then ask questions,
there is zero motivation for developers to continue…

So now, I wanted to reinstall the App to make the video but can’t / don’t see the App for downloading (saw it 2 weeks ago in store). And only can install the Kurviger now, no Kurviger Pro. Is it because of my bad ratings I don’t have the access to Kurviger Pro now? But at home have it on my S3, so kann läter make a video about the message about internet connection problem.
About the “bad rating”. What should I write? Works well, all the best?
I wrote, it worked well for one year, has good functions. But now it didn’t worked after 3 reintsallations. What are ratings for? I change my ratings when the situations changes. Why should i lie? When it works like promised I will write rating that it works well as I wrote before, when I’ve bought it.

Ich habe ein Produkt gekauft. Es funktioniert nicht richtig. Ich komme, schildere das Problem,
frage nach Lösungsansatz, weil das zigfache Neuinstallieren nichts bringt und das Gleiche passiert.
Beschreibe komplett die Symptome und habe überhaupt keinen Grund mir hier etwas auszudenken,
hab Besseres zu tun. Habe nur gehofft, dass ich die App wieder so verwenden kann, wie noch letzten
Sommer.
Was soll ich damit? “Vorab”? Ich habe auf mehreren Geräten probiert und es hat nicht funktioniert.
Andere Apps laufen und dieses hats auch gemacht, bis vor mehreren Monaten.
Dann ändere ich meine Bewertung, in der Hoffnung dass mit mir Kontakt aufgenommen wird und
das Problem geklärt. Und dann wird mir geantwortet - gibts nicht, kann nicht sein, noch nie gesehen,
bei anderen gehts, denkst dir nur aus… Ich finde die App super und das Konzept an sich wunderbar. Aber wenn ich im Internet bin und die App nicht geht und sagt “kein Internet”, auf beiden Geräten… Sind wir im Kindergarten?

But… I remember users that changed their rating after they got help via the forum.
Support of Kurviger is excellent.
IMHO that alone deserves a 5-star rating.

I went to “Verwalten” and have found the Pro App in the list.
So now I could make a Video with my Problem.

Yes, it works (Kurviger Try version), it makes a route and shows me, where I am and follows me.

It seems - in your device / network - Kurviger 1 can not find internet?
This has nothing to do with navigation, as the first post implied.
I cannot reproduce the report, here Kurviger 1 internet works properly.
(as in thousands of other users worldwide)
Hmm, in your video there is “AdGuard” running in the background.
Could that be blocking Kurviger internet access?
That’s why the Kurviger 2 video didn’t show ads.
As also mentioned in the manual:
“By using blocker apps, Android / Google services and other apps (e.g. Kurviger) may be affected!
You use blocker apps at your own risk!”
