No, it was Kurviger. Exactly same beeps as when Off route is enabled. I used it time ago.
is it possible that there are currently only two options for route recalculation?
“next waypoint and strict navigation”
I have now tried several times to drive a round trip with a detour. As soon as the recalculation starts the whole tour is gone, from 280 km it is only 14 km to the finish. My route has only 2 waypoints, one where the entrance stands and once refueling after about 120 km… It doesn’t matter if online or offline (BRouter).
Am I doing something wrong in the settings ?
Please don’t post same question in multiple topics.
Discussion for rerouting settings can be done in its topic:
- Various improvements
Tap navigation button to start and then pause / continue navigation.
Long press navigation button to stop a started or paused navigation.
Available map orientation modes in navigation:
- No rotation
- Movement direction 2D
- Movement direction 3D
- Route overview
Available when tap compass and in “Settings | Navigation | Map orientation”
Support different colors + transparency for navigation display.
Available in “Settings | Application | Display color”.
You can show / hide turn instruction display panel in navigation.

Wow, this is already very cool, also including transparency
The pause/resume button is only available in live navigation mode, not in simulation, right? No problem, just a question.
Also the map orientation modes are cool… For mode Route overview I would propose (just as a nice to have without any priority) an additional zoom factor to be kept, either as a slider for zoom percentages from 0 to 100% or some fixed overview modes (10%, 25%, 50%, 100% zoom)
Pause / continue on nav-button is available in real time navigation,
as simulation has already its own player buttons with more options.
Interesting idea, let’s discuss it in the feature topic:
Hey. Thanks for the Route overview - it’s very useful, but only while driving, in addition, as an option quickly available when navigating. Therefore, it seems to me that this view should be temporary and after 10 seconds return to the previously set. Maybe holding the compass for a long time should activate this mode temporary?
complete other opinion here: it is good when it is permanent. You just have to press on the compass to select the other mode again (just 2 little button presses).
the temporay mode is already available by just zooming with 2 fingers, then after some seconds it switches already back.
I have changed transparency, so I can see that part of the route that is sometimes hidden under the navigation panel.

Super Idee, hab ich gleich umgesetzt.
Great idea, I put it right away.

Great work gents! A lot of useful improvements!
As a beta tester I recognized the following issues:
- Routing waypoint type: no menu pops up when long press on waypoint. I can only move the waypoint.
- Navigation change Display Color: can’t find this setting.
- Settings Navigation Auto-Zoom: typo in German translation “Enfternung”
Waypoints menu is available when free their long press with “Settings | Map | Crosshair placement”.
It’s available in “Settings | Navigation | Display color” at the bottom.
Thanks for your quick reply!
Got it! I never used this functionality and this way to place my waypoints. But this way is also convenient for me Nevertheless, to avoid further user confusion, I would suggest to force all users to this new way and remove this setting.
Hm, I only can change the color but not the transparency…
The color dialog allows to change all ARGB color channels.
There are the 4 common sliders for: Alpha, Red, Green, Blue.
Can produce nice display results, like demonstrated by community here.
Crosshair placement is default for all new users.
There is a discussion for the need of drag waypoints, please see here:
Had some app crashes when automatic recalculation was active. Unfortunately I can’t say when exactly this happens. I hear the voice telling calculating… then the app quits without any message. Since I was on a 5 day motorcycle trip with other guys, I deactivated the automatic recalculation and then it worked.
