I see the same problem: Hiding left panel does not work with last Kurviger3 Version.
But it was possible xwith previous versions (I did not save the APK, so I can not switch back for further tests).

Sorry if I contest, w/out knowing the code, but there must be something else wrong, because (as in my case, GPS fixed) it can’t take sooooo long.

We ask the system for a fresh and precise fix, otherwise you might end up with a location two blocks away. As mentioned previously this will be improved in the future. I fully agree that this should work faster and this is something we are looking into.

Last not least, don’t underestimate the use of tablets for navigation, like this and many others and please compile also for older APIs, say down to Android 5?

The app should work on Android 5.1+, see our documentation here. That said, on very old Android devices some things might not work as expected, if you find something, please let us know.

Please note from the screenshot (Alps) that there’s no “Standort” icon visible. Same on my Levono, where I see All Europe on the planning with no position.

Both should be solved with the latest update.

That’s correct, but it specifically says “for smartphones”. For screens with a width of more than 600dp landscape mode is enabled. I will bookmark this thread and look into it soon

I can hide / show left panal again with latest version (tablet in landscape mode) by tapping on brace button.
Wiping the panel in / out does not work.

Yes, wiping is currently not supported

Ah - I misunderstood an other answer:

On tablets you can’t wipe out the left part of the screen. The bracket “<” is w/out any effect.
