IOS - how to remove the error message

Hi there,

On IOS, how can I remove the error message??

See screenshot

This happened when I ended the tour.

OS is up to date and no add blockers installed.

Thanks for an advice.

Stupid question, did you try to close the app and open it again? With close I mean to close it from the recent apps.

Hi

Closing the app from the recent apps is working. When reopening the app, the error message is gone.

Closing the app in the “normal” way does not help. Still an error message.

Is this a “feature” what I probably not understand?

Anyways itˋs irritating.

I have never seen this on my Iphone. Looks like some connectivity thing.

This is the active hotspot.

Meaning that another device is connected to the phone for share the Internet.

Could this be the reason?

When this happened I was in the city with LTE connection. Not a perfect signal but should be ok I guess.

It should not. Only guesses. Perhaps the bits are going the wrong way. I could not reproduce this on my Iphone, even with a connected device. It is just an observation, worth a try to switch it off.

Perhaps also uninstall, install Kurviger (downloaded maps are lost, just in case you need those right now) or to restart the phone.

No this is a bug. Probably while loading the route planning view an error happened. You can only reset the route planning view if you actually restart the app. Just swiping the app away does not really close the app, it just stops the app. If you can’t reproduce this issue anymore, I assume this was a one time issue.

Today again the same error message.

That’s annoying, sorry :frowning:. Could you share the debug string from the settings of the app? Did you do something special before this issue occurred?

osm-datumsstempel:%2012.8.2024%0AVersion%3A%203.4.1%0ADevice%3A%20Apple%20-%20iPhone15,5%20-%20iOS%3A%2017.6.1%20-%20WebView%3A%2017.6.1%0AApp-Version%3A%203.4.1%20-%202276%0AScreen%3A%20375%20x%20812%20px%20-%203dppx

You mean this one as the debug string?

This happens when ending the trip. I did nothing special.

Yep exactly. Ok got it. You seem to be on the latest iOS version as well.

Does this happen every time? Or only after some trips?

This happens randomly, not after every trip

Ok weird. I don’t have any good ideas other than actually reinstalling the app or to try and clear the route planning data and see if this possibly helps. With the next app update there will be an improvement in that area. I am not sure if this will fix the issue you are seeing though as we currently can’t reproduce this.
