Datenaustausch zwischen App und Web

I’m NOT happy if always storing routes in the cloud is mentioned as the only and best solution.
It is not the best and it’s often a not existing possibility for a lot of user.
E.g. I don’t have any mobile access to internet and therefore not to a cloud, dropbox or whatever in Switzerland. Also often no mobile connection is available, still in the mountains, in some areas or countrys and for sure in a lot of villages in Germany (so called “Pampa”).

Offline stored routes are available also if I have to start the route again because of a system or telefon failure. But that’s not possible if I would use the here mentioned idea using a cloud.
For me a cloud, google drive, dropbox can only be a storage, used as second or third storage, but not while driving a long trip, available flexibel on tour at the day and perfect for adopting the planned toures in the evening in a hotel with bad or not existing wlan connection.

I know - for an IT-guy it’s hard to understand that not all existing technology can be used everywhere.
therefore I also would prefer an more easy way to send routes between webpage and app, and back.

Simply tap the .kurviger file in the cloud and then open it with … kurviger app.

Full and 100% use of .kurviger file transfers always ensures the best import performance with no unpleasant surprises.
The current QR and shortlink methods are gimmicks that cannot approach the stable .kurviger file import performance at all.
Investing in dropbox - dropsync app (or google drive) ensures that your .kurviger files are automatically (after autosync) always available offline.

ok, offline storage for 100% availability is a good point. But everything depends on your usage. For me (probably also for most of the people/cases) in “daily use” an online-availability would be more than sufficient. If, in 1 out of xx cases, it doesn´t work due to unsufficient online-availability, it´s ok for me. For really important routes / files I always double cover anyway.
But for me the comfort of not having to extra transfer it, would predominate.
I´d wish it would be like in Calimoto: Planning via web, automatic synchronization, immediate availability in the app. Just for daily use. For holiday travel or other more important occasions I could/would save the file to a local starage anyhow / on top.

Having the Web routes accessible in the App via the Kurviger Cloud storage does not mutually exclude the local storage of Kurviger files.
The app may download the Kurviger files automatically to the local storage on access. This are implementation details how and when the files come to the local App.

The request is simply to have the Web data available in the app in some way, without fiddling around with 3rd party Cloud provider software and Apps on the PC and the mobile.

With some investigation, I see that “Web” company is located in Stuttgart whereas “App” sits in Athens, but both link to Kurviger.de - so wth should anybody know that Kurviger and Kurviger is not the same.
As this is not the same, possibly with subscribers fees you should target to get one company and stop to waste the time to explain that Kurviger and Kurviger is not the same

grafik

Per WLAN wird dann ja nach Handy/Navi automatisch Hin&Her synchronisiert.

@seesepp

geht doch ganz schnell.

Quasi:
