Create rountrip of 100 km but it makes a roundtrip of 228 km

Hi,

I’m new to Kurviger and did a short course but have a problem. I wanted to make a roundtrip of 100 km, but Kurviger then makes a roundtrip of more than 200 km. I tried a lot of things, but sometime it more than dubbles the amount of km I ask and sometimes it triples it. Both my input and the output is stated in km.

I tried to find an answer on the internet and in this forum but couldn’t find it.

This can happen, especially in regions with a low amount of roads (like mountain areas). That is a side-effect of the way we generate roundtrips. What you can try is to reduce the avoidance of the same road from 2 to 1. I don’t expect that this will resolve the issue, but might make it less extreme. This requires a Kurviger Tourer membership, you can try this for 7 days for free to see if it helps or not . The other option is to change the route manually or to disable “avoid usi…
