es wäre fantastisch, wenn ich mehr als 250 POIs reinladen könnte. Warum? Ich nutze für Tourenplanung sehr gerne die “Passknacker-Punkte” von passknacker.com. Zudem habe ich über 23.000 Campingplätze europaweit in einer GPX-Datei, die auch auch sehr gerne als Overlay beim Touren planen sehen möchte.
Sehr ihr da eine Chance, das noch aufzubohren?

Bisher behelfe ich mir immer mit der Overlay Anzeige, muss ich halt jedes mal importieren.
schöner wäre es diese auch in Kurviger verwalten zu können. Ich fürchte jedoch das jede Limitierung
irgendwann an ihre Grenzen stößt. Wen ich da 23.000 Campingplätze lese 
I would like to join you in this wish. I have privately collected over 1500 POIs in Googlemaps.
So far I have always helped myself with the overlay display, I just have to import it every time.
It would be nice to be able to manage them in Kurviger. But I am afraid that every limitation will reach its limits at some point. When I read 23,000 campsites there I don’t know what to do.
I will run some experiments and see what can be done about this. 20k is most probably not possible, as this will have a serious performance impact. 1k or maybe even 2k could be possible, let’s see .

I do hope you will find a solution to this soon. 1k would be a good start and 2k would be better. I think 5k would be enough for me.
250 makes Favorites/Bookmarks irrelevant for me, as I will have to have 2 screens open at the same time Kurviger + Google Mymaps.
As an example I have the following “layers” in Mymaps with the current numbers (still increasing): PoI: 680, Hotel/Camp sites: 76, Mountain passes: 158 …

Kennt vielleicht jemdand ein Tool, mit dem ich die Anzahl der Pois für meine zu planenede Jahrestour auf < 250 reduzieren kann. Ich stelle mir das ungefähr so vor. Ich lade die X-tausend Pois in das Tool und wähle dann über eine Gebietsauswahl (Rechteck) nur die Pois die ich aktuell brauche. Diese importiere ich dann nach Kurviger.
Does anyone know of a tool that I can use to reduce the number of pois for my annual tour to be planned to < 250. I think of something like this. I load the X-thousand pois into the tool and then select via an area selection (rectangle) only the pois that I currently need. Then I import these into Kurviger.
Das ist eine schöne Idee, wäre eigentlich gut, wenn wird das direkt so unterstützen würde

Lade dir RouteConverter auf den PC.
Importiere deine POI…mit einkreisen gehts, glaube ich, leider nicht, aber das aufräumen geht flott, und dann die Sammlungen unter verschiedenen Namen speichern.
Hallo Hampic, den Routevonverter habe ich. Der liest die tausend Pois auch klaglos ein und stellt sie grafisch dar. Aber was dann? Ich finden noch nicht einmal eine Funktion um mir die Punkte nach Längen oder Breitengrad sortieren zu lassen. Wie stellst du dir dein aufräumen vor?
Ich vermute, damit ist Löschen gemeint 
und dann in verschiedene Dateien speichern.

Die meisten POI die ich in anderen Ländern gesetzt habe sind in der POI Tabelle dicht beieinander.
damit lassen sich schnell mal alle POI in Frankreich markieren, und der Rest wird gelöscht, dann kann ich meine Frankreich POI in einer eigenen Datei Speichern.
Ich habe auch mal so angefangen und versucht die ganzen Passknacker POI zu importieren, ist aus meiner Sicht aber Unsinn, da man in der Praxis ja nicht auf Teufel komm raus alle Pässe als POI sehen muss, die überquert Mann ja bei einer netten Route sowieso.
Es gibt aber auch noch einen Plan B.
Die GPX Datei mit den POI als Overlay importieren, funktioniert allerdings nur solange bis Robin die Serverlast zu groß wird und ein Uploadlimit einführt 
Tatsächlich wird die Datei nicht hochgeladen, das läuft komplett lokal, wenn man eine Datei als Overlay läd. Hier ist das Limit der eigene Rechner.
Mit der neuen Version der Kurviger Webseite wurde das Limit hier minimal auf 300 erhöht. Das ist erstmal nicht die Welt, zukünftige Änderungen müssen dann nochmal genauer geplant werden .

Pc program. Rectangle Area selection.
With gpx editor you can do this only in Preview edit without a map background.
With the selection tool you can remove or keep waypoints within the selection.
Blind because no map, so no good
For a moment I thought “Eureka” this might work with GpsPrune…
Imports very fast +15000 wpt’s with now a map background.
Defining a rectangle zone can be done quickly but then:
“Remove all waypoints in the selection zone Yes or No ?”
Unfortunately no other choice.
So a clumsy workaround.
Delete everything around the zone you want to keep.
Then export what remains as a gpx file.
Ask the Gps Prune developer about this ?

For me it should be a minimum of 1,500 per collection.
I use iOverlander and I have the waypoints by country, there are countries with more than 1,000 points, for example right now France has 1,205, Germany 1,052, …

Trying to import POIs from Google Mymaps KMZ file, after converting it to GPX I get the error message: Cannot store more than 300 favorites per collection
I just exported 1 layer with 1.100 POIs and in addition I have a couple of other layers I would like to have showen in Kurviger.
I would therfor be very pleased if the following could be possible at some point in time:
As an alternative it seems like Google MyMaps is able to export a KML link making it possible to display the POIs in for example Kurviger web-version?

Importing more favorites is something we have on our list already. Right now there are technical limitations that prevent us from doing this. We are working on improving these in the future.
Importing kmz/kml is something else. If you need this, I would recommend to let us know here: Import kml-Dateien
