FYI: I checked if the Area is marked correctly turns out it is.

Thanks for reporting this. Kurviger and many other route planners based on OSM data don’t evaluate tags on polygons (rather tricky process).

For example see:

The best way to fix this would be to add access=private to either the roads in the area or maybe to fences / barriers that might be placed on the road there.

I adjusted the Road Access Qualifiers in OSM.
