Use volume keys for zoom the map.
Hi. I noticed the annoying behavior of speed dependent auto-zoom. If you want to orient yourself in the further course of the route, it would be good to be able to temporarily zoom out, but the application algorithm does not allow it!
It seems to me that manual zoom (also with vol +/- buttons) should have priority over automatic zoom, blocking it for a few seconds. Now it works just like that only when you are at a standstill, but it should work like that always.

It’s unrelated to auto zoom mode.
The zoom with volume keys needs some adjustments.
It will be available in next version.

BTW: Maybe it would be useful to assign the Power key (or, for example, Home, as someone has) as confirmation of route recalculation, while automatic recalculation is turned off? It is not easy to hit a small triangular symbol with a gloved hand.
In version 1.13.7, it seems that the zoom with the volume keys works correctly! Thank you very much! Maybe you should change the title of the thread to, for example, “Change hardware key assignment” to discuss the proposal to assign the Power key as a confirmation of recalculation?
