Checking the app performance, there are some hints:

  • Map performance: select “Settings | Map | Rendering | Performance”

  • Import and display too many overlays can reduce app performance

    • Bookmarks: avoid importing too many bookmarks
      (maybe we should put an upper limit?)

    • Tracks: avoid importing too many long tracks
      Note that now App: Remember imported tracks

    • GPS recording: you can hide the recorded track
      (for better performance in map and navigation)

  • Blockers / Antivirus can limit Android / Google services and apps
