That’s really a nice point.
It’s so easy to ask for a “Bring me home” feature. Their has to be defined more! Examples:
This is complicating the implementation of such a feature.
Maybe could be interesting to have a “function screen”, a screen with a certain number of buttons that users can customize to make his usual operations with just 2 taps (one to start this new activity, and the other to call the desired function). This could fit the needs of most of the users, with the only limit of button size/button number.
There are some things that for me are basic (like switch between map colours at day/night) that are so complicate to do because requires many taps, but I’m sure that are not used for most of you.
Some other navigators have this feature, like tomtom or others.

I’m not experienced in mobile plattform, but I supposed it. I’m doing it easily using automate, not an elegant way, but fits all my needs.
