App: Android 12

Have fun finding the exported <service>s of all your dependencies and declaring them in your manifest cause no library programmer pays attention to this -.-

And as always please don’t hesitate to drop me a line if you run into any troubles!

Good luck :crossed_fingers:

Kurviger is based on Cruiser platform.

I prefer to write most libraries to avoid external dependencies.
More flexibility that means more work… :slightly_smiling_face:

It has been reported that Kurviger route links do not open in the app on Android 12.
They prefer to open in the browser…

Kurviger or GPX files work correctly, offering the “Open with” apps dialog.

Android 12 opens non-verified links in the browser
instead of showing the app selection dialog.

Users can associate apps and domains in system settings:

At least for kurviger.de & kurv.gr links on Android 12,
Kurviger app will be able to open them automatically.

(available in the next app update)

Android documentation mentions:

“… install the app on your device. Wait at least 20 seconds for the asynchronous verification process to complete.”

“… if the apps can resolve the exact same domain host and path, as might be the case with lite and full versions of an app, only the app that was installed most recently can resolve web intents for that domain.”

Android 12 compatibility is implemented in Kurviger 2.1.11.

Tested file import, file export, routing, setting waypoints, and navigation (only some steps outside my apartment) on Pixel 3 Android 12. All fine, no crashes
