Adressen finden

I usually only use the app to plan routes. Finding addresses also works better there. If the app doesn’t find an address, I go via Google maps and map bookmark to transfer it to kurviger. A bit awkward, but it works.
However, how do you do this on the kurviger website?

I searched for the Blackhorse Hotel in Newton Stewart on the website and couldn’t find it in kurviger. Entering “Newton Stewart, Queenstreet 66” there was no response. The other way round, “Queenstreet 66, Newton Stewart” or “Blackhorse Hotel, Newton Stewart” was also unsuccessful. Then I remembered an entry “Graph Hopper”, which I clicked away and could not find again. I quickly opened another browser and tried there - lo and behold, the address was now found.

At the bottom of the image you can see “Address search provider GraphHopper” When you open the window, “OpenRouteService” appears as the second search provider. If you select this, the address Blackhorse Hotel is no longer found, and: The selection field has disappeared and GraphHopper cannot be selected again!

Can someone tell me how to set Graph Hopper again?

One wish: Google Maps also offers address localisation with PlusCode:

It would be great if Kurviger could find places with PlusCode. So find place with Google Maps, copy PlusCode and paste into Kurviger app/website. That would be really easy, wouldn’t it?

Plus Codes are available in the app, use the search field.

But the Global Plus Codes which work offline.

Google uses the Local Plus Codes combined with a local name,
so their use requires an internet connection to make the search.

It probably requires to make a search for the setting to appear.

I didn’t quite understand that. Kurviger processes plus codes? When I enter a plus code in the search field, the programm does not find the location. :face_with_monocle:
I read the post in the forum, didn’t help me.

It is available in the app for Global Plus Codes as seen here:
